Ludwig Maximilians Universität München

The Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich is a research university located in Munich, Germany. Originally established in 1472, it is the sixth-oldest university in Germany.

The institution is organized into 18 faculties focusing on a great variety of study disciplines. Besides, there are several research centers of the university, which are involved in interdisciplinary research projects.
