University of Eastern Finland

The University of Eastern Finland (UEF) is an international research and education community, which combines a directive and interactive learning model.

UEF has four faculties: Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Forestry, Faculty of Health Sciences (Medical Faculty) and Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences. The campuses of the university are located in Joensuu and Kuopio. Being one of the major interdisciplinary universities in Finland, the institution is recognised for its outstanding research achievements. One of the priorities of UEF is to develop solutions to the challenges of the modern world and build a sustainable future.
