University of Zadar

The history of the University of Zadar dates back to 1396, making it the oldest educational institutions in Croatia and one of the oldest in Europe. The institution includes 27 departments and offers a variety of programmes - from linguistics to nautical studies.

The university has collaborative relationships with other universities around the world, including in South America and the US. Besides, it is located in the oldest continually inhabited cities in Croatia, students here can enjoy the stunning scenery of the Dalmatian region and the rich blue Adriatic sea.
