Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek - UNIOS

The University of Osijek was founded on May 31st, 1975. Being one of the largest and oldest universities in the country, it offers courses in multiple academic disciplines, including STEM disciplines, humanities and arts. University strategic aim is to assure internationalization at all levels of academic and research activity and to become widely visible and competitive in the international higher education community, while establishing efficient cooperation with universities worldwide.

According to Quacquarelli Symonds annual rankings by region the University of Osijek is the one among five Croatian universities  ranked 231 – 240 (Emerging Europe and Central Asia list).
