Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski

Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski is the oldest higher education institution in Bulgaria. Founded in 1888, it developed into a large university hosting more than 20 000 students. The institution offers a wide range of programmes at 16 faculties, from natural sciences to humanities and medicine.

According to the university rankings, Sofia University is the best educational institution in the country and is among 5% of the top universities in the world.
