Where can a young woman apply if she wants to play professional hockey and study at the best university, but doesn't want the two to be at the expense of each other? Veszprém, of course!
The Veszprém Ice Sports Association cooperates with the county's renowned high schools, technical schools which are providing vocational training and, of course, the University of Pannonia.
The Association and the University of Pannonia both consider it of paramount importance to provide girls with a vision for their future in the sport, and therefore strive to develop and provide the widest possible base and the highest possible quality of training. The Association's aim is to enable girls to compete in a league appropriate to their ability and to train in a motivating environment that specifically serves the development of female players. They want to develop players of elite level so that they can compete at the highest possible level, even at international level.
The University of Pannonia (PE) believes it is important for the institution to provide a safe place for the best junior athletes, as well as to guarantee personalized training programmes for club athletes, compatible with active sport activities and essential for the foundation of their future careers.
