Admission procedure

Basic application documents

Faculty Business and Economics:
  • Copy of TOEFL iBT certificate with minimum score of 60; OR
  • Copy of IELTS certificate with minimum score of 5.5; OR
  • Copy of intermediate level English language certificate issued by any language centers accredited by the Hungarian Educational Authority Accreditation Centre for Foreign Language Examinations (www.nyak.hu); OR
  • If the applicant completed his/her previous studies in an institution where the language of instruction was English, the applicant may present an original Attestation of Language Proficiency.
Faculty of Information Technology:
  • Copy of TOEFL iBT certificate with minimum score of 66; OR
  • Copy of IELTS certificate with minimum score of 5.5; OR
  • If the applicant completed his/her previous studies in an institution where the language of instruction was English, the applicant may present an original Attestation of Language Proficiency.
Faculty of Engineering:
  • Copy of TOEFL iBT certificate with minimum score of 60; OR
  • Copy of IELTS certificate with minimum score of 5.5; OR
  • If the applicant completed his/her previous studies in an institution where the language of instruction was English, the applicant may present an original Attestation of Language Proficiency.
Faculty of Humanities:
  • Copy of TOEFL iBT certificate with minimum score of 63; OR
  • Copy of IELTS certificate with minimum score of 5; OR
  • or any other internationally accepted language exam in English (minimally at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)

Important! In case of successful admission you must present your original documents during the enrollment process.

Application For The Self-Funded Programmes

Application Periods

  • 1st February - 15th April (Autumn semester)
  • 15th August - 1st November (Spring semester)

Self-funded application process includes the following steps:

  1. Submit the requested documents to the chosen faculty
  2. Transfer the non-refundable application fee (150 EUR)
  3. Pass the online entrance exam
  4. Transfer the tuition fee for the 2 semesters
  5. Finish your enrollment during the registration week (the first week of the semester)

Stipendium Hungaricum application

In addition to the basic documents, Stipendium Hungaricum applicants need to provide:

Medical Certificate of satisfactory health condition

  • The certificate must be recently issued
  • Mandatory only for the applicants nominated by the Sending Partners
  • Scholarship holders will take part in medical examinations organized by universities upon their arrival

In case of Doctoral studies:

  • Research plan: Minimum 2 pages, typed in Times New Roman 12 point font size letters
  • Letter of Recommendation: A signed Letter of Recommendation from the applicant’s former or current academic tutor or supervisor, written in the language of the selected study programme or in Hungarian
  • Statement of the Supervisor (if required by the Doctoral school): a statement declaring that the supervisor at the University of Pannonia undertakes to supervise the student’s work within the doctoral programme

Application For Erasmus+

In order to become an Erasmus+ participant, a student needs to meet the requirements of the chosen institution. A student may be required to submit the following documents:

  • CV
  • Motivation letter
  • A proof of language proficiency

In certain cases, a student can be required to take part in an entrance interview.

In the case of traineeships, the application can be submitted continously, two months before the start of the internship.
